Women's Health Network T-Balance Plus - Does It Work?-Review

What is Women’s Health Network T-Balance Plus?

Our review today looks at Women’s Health Network T-Balance Plus, a thyroid supplement designed for women who have an underactive thyroid. Plant-based therapies such as the one used in T-Balance Plus can be highly effective for treating individuals with low thyroid levels who are experiencing fatigue, weight gain, a lack of energy, hair loss, hair damage, and problems with concentration.

Ingredients & How It Works

Primary Ingredients

  • Iodine (from Kelp) - 40 mcg

  • Selenium (Chelate) - 120 mcg

  • Proprietary Herbal Blend (Bacopa Extract (aerial parts), Hops (flower), Sage (leaf), Ashwagandha Extract (root), Coleus Forskohlii Extract (root) - 416.7 mg

Secondary Ingredients

  • Gelatin

  • Cellulose

  • Dicalcium Phosphate

  • Magnesium Stearate (from vegetable sources)

  • Silica

This appears to be a good ingredient list with Iodine, Kelp, and Selenium which are key ingredients for improving the thyroid.  And T-Balance Plus contains no eggs, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, crustacean shellfish, soy, wheat yeast, corn or artificial preservatives, colors, sweeteners or flavors. However, some of the clinically proven ingredients for thyroid support including Molybdenum,  L-Tyrosine, and Bladderwrack are curiously absent from this product and are commonly used in thyroid supplements.  And the quantities of Iodine and Selenium are noticeably less than in other leading thyroid supplements.

Daily Serving

Instructions on the label state to take one capsule twice a day - once in the morning and once in the evening with meals or in consultation with your healthcare professional. Individuals with health conditions or taking medications should consult with their healthcare professional first.  Pregnant and nursing women should not take this product.

This product may not be used continuously for more than 6 months unless directed by a qualified healthcare practitioner.

The Cost

Each bottle of T-Balance Plus contains 60 capsules, a 1-month supply. The manufacturer sells a bottle for $29.95 plus $4.95 shipping, but there are no multi-packs available for discounted prices. Third party websites also sell 1 bottle for $29.95; $53.91 for 2 bottles, and $76.37 for 3 bottles.

The manufacturer offers free shipping to both US customers and international address who set up an automatic order every 30, 45, or 60 days. Free shipping for international customers is certainly an attractive bonus.

Guarantee

The manufacturer offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee for 60-day minus the shipping fees, even if all the supplements have been used.  It is reassuring to have a company who stands by its product and offers this type of risk-free purchasing, although the manufacturer states that it will take approximately 30 days to feel and see the results after starting the supplement, so the satisfaction guarantee is still largely limited compared to other manufacturers who offer a guarantee up to a year.

Our Review Summary Of Women’s Health Network T-Balance Plus

Made in the USA and GMP certified and using natural ingredients, T-Balance Plus is a good product. Unfortunately, though there are amazing reviews on the manufacturer’s websites, our research on third-party websites shows much more of a mixed bag of experiences using T-Balance Plus. Customers complain that it caused them elevated blood pressure, dryness in the mouth, stomach upset, and just generally did not meet their desired expectations.  Other products on the market that help in relieving symptoms can be found with higher levels of Iodine and Selenium, for better prices and with a satisfaction guarantee of up to a year.
