NatureCare AF Antifungal Cream - Does It Work?-Review
What is NatureCare AF Antifungal Cream?
Today we are conducting a comprehensive review of NatureCare AF Antifungal Cream, a product which claims to treat athlete's foot rapidly. As the name suggests, this product is an antifungal homeopathic cream that is said to be a low PH treatment that fights off localized fungus and bacteria on the skin.
We will be taking a closer look at the facts to see if this product lives up to its claims.
Ingredients & How It Works
Active Ingredients
- Zinc Sulfate
Inactive Ingredients
- Purified water
- Aloe vera
- Shea oil
- Vegetable emulsifying wax
- Sunflower oil
- Grapeseed oil
- Vegetable glycerine
- Distilled green vitriol
- Vitamin E
Zinc Sulfate is believed to be beneficial for fungal infections because it helps to strengthen the immune system, regulate the PH balance of the body and is responsible for enzymatic activity, however, there is not much evidence to show that applying zinc sulfate topically is potent enough to inhibit the growth of fungus. We were disappointed to see that this formula does not contain any supporting ingredients such as Undecylenic Acid which has proven to be effective in treating fungal infections.
Daily Serving
NatureCare is a cream based product which is applied topically to the skin. It is recommended that you apply this to the infected area that has been washed and dried at least 3 times a day or when necessary. Our concern is that the manufacturer has not mentioned a timeframe in which you will be able to see measurable results and if you should continue using the product after symptoms have disappeared. Research shows that antifungal creams should be used for an additional week after symptoms have cleared up to prevent them from reoccurring.
The Cost
The cost of this product ranges from $40.00 for 0.88 oz tube. This product can only be purchased via third-party suppliers online. There appear to be no discounts available for this product either.
Guarantee
We were unable to find any refund policy or mention of a satisfaction guarantee on the website however this may differ between retailers. A lack of guarantee could potentially deem this product as a risky purchase as the manufacturer has not provided any confidence or evidence that this product is effective.
Our Review Summary Of NatureCare AF Antifungal Cream
While we appreciate that the manufacturer has put forward it's best efforts to provide a holistic formula, we still have some concerns. The first concern is that there is insufficient evidence which shows that applying Zinc Sulfate topically is potent enough to deliver any measurable results. Based on the lack of reviews from end users, we feel that this product is not popular and has not provided enough social proof to make claims that this is, in fact, a rapid treatment. The user instructions are also very vague as there is no clear time frame in which clients will be able to see results and as mentioned before, research shows that antifungal creams should be used for an additional week after symptoms have cleared up to prevent them from reoccurring. This product is also very expensive and considering that there is no money back guarantee, we feel that this product is a risky purchase.
