This substance is used as a laxative, treating constipation. It increases the percentage of water in the stools, making them softer, and allowing for better and less painful bowel movements. This element may also be used to lower cholesterol. However, there could be side effects: chest pain, vomiting, stomach cramps and problems breathing and swallowing. In addition, some people may experience allergic reactions in the form of rashes, swelling, or dizziness.
Daily Serving
The manufacturer recommends taking one or two capsules at night, encouraging bowel movements in the morning. The company also suggests, as an alternative, opening the capsules and sprinkling the contents on food, before consuming.
